# Lore-catalog run-down — consolidated findings (2026-08-31)

Ran the 46-item GAN-culture catalog to ground via 10 parallel censuses + targeted
sweeps. All local, free, plant-validated. Full per-item triage in
`theories/LORE-CATALOG-TRIAGE-2026-08-31.md`. Individual reports in this folder.

## THE ONE NEW LEAD — the abnormal-HiddenType eleven (SELECTION, not yet a solve)

HiddenType (an on-chain trait) is Pindar's encoding of each piece's NUMBER CLASS:
- skull `a` = Fibonacci {1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89}
- skull `b` = prime-not-Fibonacci = the glitchers (the Prime Rule, in metadata)
- skull `c` = perfect squares {4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100,121}
- skull `d`,`e` = the remainder; robo/spooky use A-F.

The values OUTSIDE the documented a-e/A-E scheme number exactly ELEVEN pieces:
- `F` (9): robo {129,141,147,159,162,174,180,192} = all 8 binary palindromes
  (the ratified naga class) + spooky #193.
- `32` (2): #32 (promise piece "Type 32 typo or important?") + #161 (holds "32"
  at position 32).

This is a clean, deterministic, on-chain selection of eleven that a solver reading
only the documented HiddenType letters would never see — a strong fit for "11
glitches" as "11 pieces whose hidden-type metadata is glitched." It also unifies
two things Pindar personally flagged (#32) and the palindrome class.

**Sweep status: DEAD on all computed word-registers.** Essence, piece#→word,
mint→word, binary-position→word, position-in-drop→word, name-word × {mint, gan,
binpos, reverse} orderings — 16 registers, all NEGATIVE, plant-validated,
registered. Mint-order essences (advance alpha awkward cat dog news twin olive
wolf zero glue) were untested before today; now dead.

VERDICT: joins the standing pattern — a strong, novel, principled eleven that dies
on every computed register. Value: it is a **ratified-quality SELECTION** for the
mix-and-match pool and for Michael's number-register ideas. Recommend surfacing it
to Michael for an eye/ratification pass (is "out-of-scheme HiddenType" a glitch
class he endorses?) and for the un-computable registers (true-class words,
pair-relations).

## CLEAN NEGATIVES (catalog items run to ground, nothing at eleven)

- **Gallery archaeology (B20)** — the ONLY surviving pre-clue gallery snapshot
  (Parcel #795 "bitGALLERY", captured 2022-01-25, 11 days pre-clue) shows the
  already-known 25-token SuperRare forge collection hung in **plain ascending
  order 1-11** — the opposite of the podGALLERY out-of-sequence marker. CryptoVoxels
  is a client-rendered app the crawler never indexed; no other clue-window snapshot
  exists. This closes the strongest external-archive hope with real evidence.
- **Journal images (B25)** — all 59 Act-1-window images downloaded and inspected
  frame-by-frame. The clue post's 5 images: no barcode, QR, number, or red-marked
  word. Negative.
- **Walk shapes (A2)** — 512 GIFs hashed: 472 plain, 40 splice-revisit, 6 held,
  2 palindromic, 0 frozen, 0 within-piece reversed. No principled cut = 11. The
  "reversal cluster" shows zero frame-level reversal (mislabeled binary-title
  phenomenon).
- **Distinguished-index sequence (B11)** — assembled; dominated by a trivial
  settle-on-last-frame artifact (26/39 = frame 40). No Fibonacci/prime/code.
- **Perfect fakes / event counting (A1/A8/B26)** — perfect fakes = 32 (or 28); no
  provenance filter reproduces 11 independently.
- **Odd-file bespoke reads (B18)** — no 11/12-item internal structure in any of
  #228/#300/#390/#188/#446/#479/#480/#19. Container census: disposal=none on 100%
  of frames, 0 comment blocks, 0 local palettes, 0 trailing bytes across all 512.
  Confirms #14/#75 byte-identical (only exact-dup pair).
- **Near-duplicates (A7)** — instrument calibrated (#14/#75 at distance 0); only
  2 of 9 ratified pairs are visually close (the rest were built on non-pixel
  signals). One new cross-drop pair flagged: **#150 (robo) ↔ #458 (review)**.
  No count near 11.
- **Tile-vs-tile (B19)** — zero exact-duplicate tiles in montage_all.jpg,
  act1review_contact.png, act1review_8x8.gif.
- **Forge inheritance (A19)** — 9 violation-children found (eyes/type/subtype rule
  breaks), incl. a new one (Agentic skullGAN 1,869). The never-forged burn pair is
  precisely **#49 + #20** (burned 2021-10-29, never minted). Cross-contract
  pre-clue anomalies = **8, not 11**.
- **"crispy" / four-skipped-words (A9/B14)** — `crispy` on Burn Out 10,987
  **postdates the clue** (minted 2022-05-25), so it is NOT an Act-1 cross-contract
  glitch. The "four skipped BIP-39 words" claim is FALSE — the skull essence
  register has only 2 deviations (#21 bean/action, #57 mistake/alpha), 1 unused
  word (action).
- **Depth census (B16)** — the solved-Solstice single-field template transfers to
  NONE of 13 Act 1 fields (best = HiddenType, which is the selection above, not a
  word register). Kills the naive single-field hypothesis.
- **Positional probes (A5/B5/B6/B12)** — position-32 not a systematic anomaly slot
  (1 of 5 carriers); no HODL partner rule closes 1:1; Review pointer table hits 9%
  vs 34% chance baseline (underperforms).
- **Lore censuses (A16/B8/A11/A14/B24/B2/B10)** — tributes=10 (all on anomaly
  carriers), crypto-roles=6, architecture-names=0, brushstroke-numbers=noise
  (1 of 26 binary-legal). Confirmed curios: the **39-triple** (piece #39 +
  "39 manifestations" + Type=Tester n=39) and the **92-vs-93** count mismatch in
  sun-dancing.txt. Trio-positions-as-date produced no calendar word.

## PROTOCOL RESULT — the passphrase dimension (from the registry audit)

Registry audit confirmed: 100% of the ~103k registry entries used the standard
full-128-ending harness (no stale literal-ending gaps). BUT the **BIP-39
passphrase dimension was essentially never run** (one incomplete attempt, killed
after 2 of 49, unregistered) — and never on curated_elevens/fr11/glitch_pool/
drop_systems/forge_mapping/multistep/D27 sets. That is a genuine untested
dimension over every strong dead set. Sweep in progress: `universe`/`infinite`
as passphrase, plus `universe` as a fixed literal 12th word, over 144 candidate
sets × 2 orderings. **RESULT: 74,720 derivations, plant-validated, NO HIT — dead.**
'before the first, after the last' as a passphrase does not rescue the strong dead sets.

Also newly confirmed novel (registry-checked absent), for a future run:
index-transplants of Union-eleven → mint-rank / montage / title-alphabetical
orderings (only Union→upload-order and HODL+128 were ever transplant-swept).

## OPEN, NEEDS MICHAEL'S EYE (staged, not blocking)
- Ratify (or reject) the abnormal-HiddenType eleven as a glitch class.
- Eyes-vs-art audit (B22) — unblocks H-2 eyes-as-binary; needs all-frames pages.
- New cross-drop near-dup pair #150↔#458 — is it a real reprise?
