# The Forge as a mapping: what the eleven burnt Flaming skullGANs became Investigation date: 22 August 2026. All chain data in this report was fetched live from Blockscout's public Ethereum API and is reproducible; the raw metadata is saved to `superrare_bitgans_onchain.json` in the project root. --- ## 0. Headline findings 1. **The forged pieces have been found, and they are a real, self-contained, on-chain collection.** They live on contract `0x2D413006b09DC8953a468E662d81382942b4C0D2`, whose token name is literally **"SuperRare bitGANs"**, symbol `BITGANS`. It holds 25 tokens. Every one of them carries a full trait set, and every trait set includes a trait called **`Burned bitGANs`** that names, in Pindar's own metadata, exactly which two pieces were destroyed to make it. That trait is the correspondence table the collection owner asked for, written by the artist and published on chain. 2. **Every forged piece carries an Essence, and twenty-four of the twenty-five Essences are BIP-39 words.** The single exception is `crispy`, carried by the piece named **Burn Out 10,987**. `crispy` is not in the BIP-39 English wordlist; `crisp` is word 414. A forged piece called "Burn Out" whose Essence is a BIP-39 word with a spurious letter stuck on the end is a glitch in precisely the sense the Act 1 clue uses the term, and it is the only one of its kind in the forged set. 3. **The forged Essences are a vocabulary the rest of the collection does not use.** Of the twenty-five, twenty-four appear nowhere among the 513 artworks in `master_dataset.json`. Only `agent` collides, and that collision is trivial because skullGAN #40's Essence is `agent` by the ordinary numbering rule. The forge therefore mints new words rather than recycling existing ones, which makes the forged Essences a genuinely separate word register. 4. **On 5 February 2022, the day Pindar posted the Act 1 clue, exactly eleven of these forged pieces existed, and all eleven carried a clean BIP-39 Essence.** Token 11 (Triclops) was minted 8 January 2022; token 12 (The Collaborator) was not minted until 23 May 2022, three and a half months after the clue. Pindar corroborated the count himself two days later: in "016 - Act 1 Finale" (7 February 2022) his own inventory of Act 1 lists "12 SuperRare bitGANs" — the eleven numbered pieces plus The Cryptographer, which is on a different contract and carries no attributes at all. The eleven words, in mint order, are: > **super rare series ritual level secret update switch symbol upgrade chief** That eleven has an independent motivation — an on-chain contract boundary that closed at exactly eleven members on exactly the announcement date, confirmed by the artist's own count. It is not a count I went looking for. I have tested it; see §6. 5. **The eleven-to-eleven correspondence the lead hoped for does not close.** Eleven burnt Flaming skullGANs produced only **ten** forged pieces. The pair Flaming Smoke skullGAN (49/128) + Rainbow skullGAN (20/128) was burned on 29 October 2021 and **no forged piece was ever minted for it**. The wallet that burned them, `0xE301612b0751f6D862a27BE205fb8e3c40c8C6db`, holds exactly one SuperRare bitGAN today (Zombie Face, from its other pair), so the debt is still outstanding after nearly five years. Eleven goes to ten, and the mapping is not one-to-one. 6. **One correction to the working data.** The "eleven partner halves" as previously recorded — #2, 9, 20, 32, 74, 86, 135, 138, 149, 153, 168 — is wrong. It was built by pairing within each sending wallet, and one wallet sent four pieces, which makes the pairing ambiguous. Pindar's own `Burned bitGANs` trait resolves it: **The Artist (2/128) was burned with the Flaming cryptoGAN (001111), not with any Flaming skullGAN**, and the true partner of Rainbow Ghost skullGAN (66/128) is the **Noun GAN Study (3/63)**, which is not a bitGAN and carries no Essence. The genuine partner set of the eleven Flaming skullGANs is therefore ten bitGANs plus one nounGAN study, and supplies only ten words. --- ## 1. The Forge, and how the pairs were pinned Pindar set the mechanism out in `site/txt/journal__page008.txt`. A collector had to send two NFTs to a burn wallet, at least one of which had to be Flaming "in Property or Name". The two would be destroyed and a single new SuperRare 1/1 would be minted and sent back to the wallet that sent them, together with a physical painting made by his robot. He also wrote there, in an update pasted above the original post, that "Only 24 Forged bitGANs will be made from Flaming bitGANs" and that "10 are left". The burn wallet `0xa7c231c6e3de1bd3ca056e6303654f05e4ae1a0c` is confirmed by a direct Blockscout query to hold exactly 32 NFTs, all inbound, none ever transferred out, all on the OpenSea Shared Storefront contract `0x495f947276749Ce646f68AC8c248420045cb7b5e`. Sixteen carry the Flaming subtype on chain and sixteen do not, so the wallet represents sixteen completed burn pairs. The burns ran from block 13,406,439 (12 October 2021) to block 13,822,740 (17 December 2021), all of them well before the Act 1 clue was posted. I did not need to infer the pairings from block adjacency in the end, because the forged pieces name their own parents. Where block adjacency and the metadata disagree — and they do disagree, in the one wallet that sent four pieces — the metadata is authoritative. Two pairs also turn out to cross wallet boundaries or to be ambiguous by timing: - Wallet `0x51734e52…` sent four pieces in a single evening: the Flaming cryptoGAN (001111), the Noun GAN Study (3/63), The Artist (2/128) and the Rainbow Ghost skullGAN (66/128). Block order suggests pairing 144 with the Noun GAN Study and 66 with The Artist. The metadata says the opposite: The Cryptographer was made from The Artist and the Flaming cryptoGAN, and Skull Dot was made from the Noun GAN Study and #66. - Wallets `0x651aEeF4…` and `0x2B0386bb…` each sent a single piece, six blocks apart on 15 October 2021 — the Shimmering cryptoGAN (100111) and the Flaming Cronenberg skullGAN (123/128). Those two pieces became **Ezra 15,738**, so this was a forge assembled by two different collectors. Ezra went to `0x2B0386bb…` only. Also worth recording: the wallet `0x55372173689c288552885d897d32f5f706f79aa6`, which appears in `burnt_final.json` as one of the thirteen "collector" senders and which contributed seven of the 32 burns, is **Pindar's own minting wallet**. The OpenSea Shared Storefront token IDs of all 32 burnt pieces decode to that address as creator, and it is the wallet every SuperRare bitGAN was minted to. So four of the sixteen forges — Bit Mouth, Cyber Zombie, The Five Eyes and The Sun Dancers — were fed by the artist himself, and those four pieces went to auction on SuperRare rather than back to a collector. --- ## 2. The full correspondence table This is the complete mapping for all sixteen pairs held in the burn wallet. "Essence" columns give the piece's own Essence trait. Token 19 additionally has a mangled trait set: its `Eyes` value is the literal string `Dimensions`, and it carries a stray trait `5` with value `8`. Token 22 is the clean version. This is a straightforward metadata corruption that Pindar re-minted rather than fixed, and it means the Number sequence 0x01–0x16 covers twenty-two distinct pieces across twenty-three tokens. **The count reconciles to 24.** Twenty-two numbered pieces, plus The Cryptographer as the unnumbered original that started the whole ritual, is twenty-three forged bitGANs made from Flaming bitGANs. One forge is outstanding — the 49/20 pair. Twenty-three plus one is exactly the twenty-four Pindar promised in `journal__page008.txt`. The two later pieces, Scribble copperPlot and Laurent, sit outside that count: the first is a re-merge of a pair already used for The Collaborator and the second comes from a bitFAM set rather than a Flaming burn. **Four of the forged pieces disagree with themselves or with Pindar's own posts about their stroke counts.** The number in a forged piece's name is its brushstroke count, and it is the only number the piece carries that a human typed rather than a robot generated. In `journal__page009.txt` Pindar writes "**The Extra Terrestrial 10,051**" where the token is named "The Extra Terrestrial 10,105" — a digit transposition. In `news__whats-so-special.txt` he writes "**Collaborator 11,484**" where the token is "The Collaborator 11,464". And **Ezra 15,738** carries a `Strokes` trait of 15,739 and a description that also says 15,739, so the name and the trait disagree by one on the token itself. Add the duplicated Snailbot Number, the mangled `Eyes: Dimensions` trait on token 19, and the non-BIP-39 `crispy`, and the forged set carries six independent metadata defects across twenty-five pieces. For a project whose one clue is the word "glitches", that density is worth recording even though I cannot yet make it mean anything. **The wording changes at exactly eleven.** The descriptions of tokens 1 through 11 all say the piece was "created from the burning of". From token 12 onward the phrase becomes "created from the merging of", and token 24 says "remerging". The vocabulary boundary falls in the same place as the date boundary. This is suggestive but I would not lean on it hard: tokens 13, 14 and 15 are made from burn-wallet parents and are still described as merges, so the change of word tracks when Pindar wrote the metadata rather than what physically happened. --- ## 4. Structure inside the mapping ### 4.1 Numeric traits are additive — and it is checkable Pindar stated the rule in `journal__page009.txt`: "the properties of these new forged bitGANs appear to be composites of the burnt bitGANs. For example if the two burnt bitGANs had 2 eyes and 3 eyes, the new SuperRare bitGAN would have 5 eyes." I tested it against the parents' recorded traits for the twelve burn-wallet forges where both parents are bitGANs with known traits. - **Dimensions = sum of the parents' Dimensions** holds for 11 of 12. The single failure is Ink Bot: 3 + 4 = 7, but the token carries 9. - **Eyes = sum of the parents' Eyes** holds for 9 of 12. The three failures are Bit Mouth (4 + 4 = 8, token carries 3), Cyber Zombie (3 + 4 = 7, token carries 3) and Triclops (4 + 4 = 8, token carries 4). All three failures run in the same direction — the forged piece has fewer eyes than the sum, never more. So the arithmetic half of the mapping is real and largely deterministic, and Pindar's own caveat that "it is not an unbreakable rule" is accurate. ### 4.2 The Essence is not derived from the parents This is the important negative result. I looked for any arithmetic relation between the forged Essence's BIP-39 index and the parents' numbers: sum, absolute difference, product, and the parents' own BIP-39 indices. None of them produce the child's index for any pair. Triclops is made from #125 and #153, whose sum is 278 and difference 28, and its Essence `chief` is word 319. Zombie Face is made from #11 and #74, sum 85, and its Essence `night` is word 1197. There is no rule of that shape. There is one near-miss that I record only so nobody has to rediscover it. Zombie Face's stroke count is 11,197 and `night` is BIP-39 word 1197. No other piece shows the same relation between its stroke count and its Essence index, so with twenty-four pieces and several available transforms this is best read as coincidence rather than signal. The structural conclusion is that the forge composes the *numeric* traits by addition and *mints* the Essence fresh. The Essences are not inherited, not arithmetic, and not drawn from the pool the rest of the collection uses. They are a new vocabulary, written by hand, twenty-four words of which are BIP-39 and one of which is a BIP-39 word with a letter added. ### 4.3 What the eleven words say Read in mint order the eleven pre-clue Essences are > super rare series ritual level secret update switch symbol upgrade chief Several of those are puzzle-meta vocabulary rather than descriptive art words: `series`, `level`, `secret`, `symbol`, `update`, `upgrade`. That is the same register the collection uses elsewhere for signposting — Cyber cryptoGAN (011000) carries the Essence `puzzle` and Shimmering cryptoGAN (100111) carries `hidden`, and both of those went into the forge. The first three words also read as a self-description of the contract they sit on: "super rare series". ### 4.4 Who received what The delivery rule in `journal__page008.txt` — "A SuperRare Token will be sent to the wallet address that sent the bitGANs" — is borne out by the transfer history, with two exceptions. Every forged token was minted to Pindar's wallet `0x55372173…` and then moved. Extra Terrestrial went to `0x9674EDE5…` (which burned 32 and 95), Glitch Skull to `0x049e37b4…` (86 and 111), Robo Bobo to `0x13FD513c…` (69 and 135), The Twins to `0x6924686B…` (9 and 117), Triclops to `0xBeC69dfc…` (125 and 011000), Burn Out to `0x52Bc8e9a…` (87 and 001001), Ezra to `0x2B0386bb…` (123), and Zombie Face to `0xE301612b…` (11 and 74). Skull Dot went directly to `0xA83fA9c834…`. The exceptions are the four pieces whose parents Pindar burned himself — Bit Mouth, Cyber Zombie, The Five Eyes and The Sun Dancers — which went to the SuperRare auction contract `0x8c9F364bf7…` for primary sale, and Ink Bot, which also went to auction even though `0xCe4c8A44…` had burned its parents. --- ## 5. Calibration: has the eleven been miscounted? The task asked me to check the count rather than trust it. Three things came out of that check. **The eleven burnt Flaming skullGANs is correct, but only on the chain reading, and it hangs on one piece.** Ten of the eleven — #11, 33, 49, 69, 87, 95, 111, 117, 123, 125 — carry SubType `Flaming` in both Pindar's published property sheet and the on-chain metadata. The eleventh, #66, is `Rainbow` in the sheet and `Flaming` on chain, and its on-chain title carries a stray backtick: `Rainbow Ghost skullGAN (66/128)`` . Read from the sheet the set is ten; read from the chain it is eleven. This is one of the collection's known chain-versus-sheet conflicts. The forge settles which reading is operative. The forge required a Flaming piece, #66's partner was a Noun GAN Study with no bitGAN traits at all, and the piece they produced — Skull Dot — carries SubType `Flaming`. Pindar could only have taken that from #66. So the chain reading is the one the artist himself used, and the eleven is genuine. But it is worth being explicit that the eleventh member of this eleven is supplied by a metadata discrepancy rather than by a visible property, which is either exactly the point or exactly the danger, depending on how much weight the theory is asked to carry. **The motivation is independent of the count.** The eleven is not selected by a trait filter. It is the set of Flaming skullGANs that collectors actually chose to destroy in a mechanism Pindar built, between October and December 2021, before any puzzle existed. The five other burns are not skullGANs, so the boundary is drawn by the artwork type rather than by me. That is a real independent reason, and it survives the standard warning that seventy-three trait combinations produce elevens by accident. **The partner eleven is a miscount and should be retired.** It was assembled by pairing within each sending wallet, which fails for the wallet that sent four pieces at once. Pindar's `Burned bitGANs` trait gives the true pairing, and it puts The Artist (2/128) with the Flaming cryptoGAN (001111) rather than with any Flaming skullGAN, and puts the Noun GAN Study (3/63) with #66. The corrected partner set of the eleven Flaming skullGANs is: Noun GAN Study (3/63), 9, 20, 32, 74, 86, 135, 138, 149, 153, 168. It has eleven members but only ten of them are bitGANs with Essences, so it yields ten words, not eleven. Any prior search that used `ability absurd act advance ankle apple ghost hidden ice only puzzle` was searching a set that does not correspond to anything. **And the forged side does not reach eleven either.** Because #49 and #20 were never forged, the eleven Flaming skullGANs map to ten forged pieces. The eleven-to-eleven the lead was looking for is eleven-to-ten with a hole in it. --- ## 6. What I tested, and what it returned Everything below was run against the target wallet `0x18f87ec9c527aba1db44f715456bf28b0dae478d` using the project's existing derivation library `fast3.py`, which was re-validated against the standard BIP-39 test vector before use (`abandon` × 11 + `about` derives `0x9858EfFD232B4033E47d90003D41EC34EcaEda94` at `m/44'/60'/0'/0/0`). In every run all 128 checksum-valid twelfth words were enumerated for each candidate prefix, so the twelfth word was never a limitation. **Test 1 — the eleven pre-clue forged Essences, sixteen orderings, five standard paths.** `super rare series ritual level secret update switch symbol upgrade chief` in mint/Number order, its reverse, stroke count ascending and descending, BIP-39 index ascending and descending, alphabetical and reverse alphabetical, Eyes ascending and descending, Dimensions ascending and descending, earliest-parent-burn-block, latest-parent-burn-block, burn block descending, and word length. **Zero hits.** **Test 2 — the same eleven, mint order and reverse, sixty-five derivation paths.** Account indices 0–9, change indices 0 and 1, address indices 0–9, plus `m/44'/60'/0'/0`, `m/0/0`, `m/0'/0'/0'`, `m/44'/61'/0'/0/0` and `m/44'/0'/0'/0/0`. 8,320 derivations per ordering. **Zero hits.** **Test 3 — the forged children of the eleven burnt Flaming skullGANs, with the missing forge as a wildcard.** `night secret ??? ritual switch crisp level update symbol crystal chief` in ascending parent-GAN order, with `???` swept over all 2,048 BIP-39 words and `crispy` repaired to `crisp`. 262,144 derivations on `m/44'/60'/0'/0/0`. **Zero hits.** This is the test that would have found the answer if the never-minted 49/20 forge were the only thing standing in the way, at least for this one ordering. **Test 4 — the Ghosts drop identity eleven.** `chaos choice clock combine common control correct crash crazy culture danger` in GAN order and reverse, five standard paths. **Zero hits.** This set deserves a fuller sweep; two orderings is not a test. None of these sets is eliminated. 11! is 39,916,800 orderings and the tests above cover twenty of them. What can be said is that no principled ordering — mint order, drop order, burn order, parent order, trait order, index order, alphabetical order — opens the wallet for any of them. --- ## 7. The separate SuperRare puzzle The collection owner's recollection is right that Pindar asserted a puzzle behind the forged pieces, and it is right that it is a different puzzle from the Act 1 one. It is not right that it was ever solved, because it was never actually posed. The entire textual basis for it is one sentence, in `site/txt/news__superrare-bitgans.txt` (20 October 2021), about Bit Mouth, Cyber Zombie and The Five Eyes: > "Each was both a SR Token as well as physical painting. Each had attributes, some of the first > attributes to appear in SuperRare tokens. It was pretty clear that there is some sort of puzzle > behind them, but it is not exactly clear how to solve it, or even what exactly the puzzle is." That is the whole of it. Across the 109 archived pages there is no clue post, no prize wallet, no mechanism, no ordering rule and no solution announcement for the forged pieces. The only other places their properties are discussed are `journal__page009.txt`, which sets out the additive composition rule tested in §4.1, and `news__sun-dancing.txt`, which notes that The Sun Dancers is "a Flaming SuperRare bitGAN with 18 eyes" and wonders what re-forging might produce. The decisive negative evidence is Pindar's own retrospective index. In `site/txt/news__the-bytegan-puzzle.txt`, published 3 March 2023, he lists every puzzle the project had solved: > "The Winter Solstice Puzzle Solved / The podGallery Puzzle Solved / The Fibonacci Puzzle Solved / > The Seed Phrase Puzzle Solved" Four puzzles. The SuperRare/forged puzzle is not among them. Neither, incidentally, is the Act 1 puzzle. **Are the two puzzles chained?** No — and this is a clean negative rather than an absence of evidence. The Act 1 clue post, `site/txt/news__cryptoartgans.txt` (5 February 2022), is twelve lines long and says only that the prize is the Magic Internet moneyGAN and that "The seed phrase is 11 glitches ending with a random word." It does not scope the eleven to any drop. Everything else in the archive points the Act 1 puzzle at the 512-piece Act 1 collection rather than at the forged 1/1s: the prize is itself an Act 1 cryptoArtGAN, the working surface Pindar published for the puzzle is the Arweave CSV of "all Act 1 bitGANs Properties (bitGANs 0-512)" in `journal__page015.txt`, and "glitch" is an established Act 1 trait rather than a forged-piece trait. And in the Act 1 Finale post he lists the "12 SuperRare bitGANs" as one line item among the drops, not as the puzzle's material. So the honest reading is the third option, not either of the two the owner proposed. Pindar did not deliberately keep the forged pieces out of the Act 1 puzzle, and he did not chain the two together. He floated a forged-piece puzzle in October 2021, never developed it, and appears to have quietly dropped it. The forged pieces are an **unfired gun**, not a fence and not a bridge. That said, three things keep them live as Act 1 material rather than ruling them out: - Pindar's own Act 1 inventory counts the SuperRare bitGANs *inside* Act 1. - Exactly eleven of them existed on the day the clue was given, each carrying one BIP-39 word. - One of the twenty-five forged Essences, `crispy`, is a corrupted BIP-39 word, which is what the clue's word "glitch" denotes everywhere else in this project. --- ## 8. Mappings in the collection: where an eleven actually exists The Forge is one mapping. The collection is full of them, and it is worth being blunt about which ones reach eleven on both sides and which do not, because padding a nine or a twelve up to eleven is the fastest way to waste a month. ### 8.1 The skullGAN essence register — numbers to BIP-39 words The cleanest mapping in the collection, and an identity map. For skullGANs the Essence is the BIP-39 English word at the 1-based index equal to the GAN number: #1 `abandon`, #11 `access`, #49 `alcohol`, #128 `avocado`. There are 128 skullGAN rows covering GANs 1–128 with no gaps and no duplicates, and the correspondence is strictly one-to-one. GAN 0, the Pandimensional skullGAN, sits outside the drop with Essence `universe`, so the register never had a zero slot to break. Neither side is eleven. Exactly two members violate the rule. **#21** carries `bean` (word 157) where the register demands `action` — and that is a pun rather than a corruption, because the piece is titled `Beanie skullGAN`. **#57** carries `mistake` (word 1136) where the register demands `alpha` — and the substitute word literally names a glitch. The displaced words did not vanish: `alpha` is the Essence of GAN 129, the first piece of the very next drop, while `action` is the only BIP-39 word in the consumed low band that nothing in the collection holds. The consequence for the Forge is deflating and needs saying plainly. The burnt pieces' Essences carry no information beyond their numbers. `access advice alcohol amused ancient approve armed assist attend aunt auto` is `11 33 49 66 69 87 95 111 117 123 125` written in another alphabet, and testing it as a seed phrase is the same as testing the numbers. Two facts about the wider register are worth carrying forward. All 513 Essences in the collection are **distinct** — a global injection with no reuse anywhere. And 512 of the 513 are BIP-39 words; the single exception is GAN 191, whose Essence is `err0r`, leetspeak for `error` (word 577). That is the collection's only other corrupted-BIP-39 Essence besides the forged `crispy`. ### 8.2 The podGAN seed trait — SLIP-39 to BIP-39 This is the project's own precedent for a word-substitution mapping and the closest structural analogue to what a forged-piece puzzle could have been. Every one of the 1024 podGANs carries a `seed` trait, all 1024 are distinct, and together they exhaust the 1024-word SLIP-39 list under the rule `seed(k) = slip39[k]` in 1-based indexing with podGAN 0 wrapping to word 1024. It is strictly one-to-one and onto, with zero structural violations; the only two mismatches are spreadsheet coercions (podGAN 329 reads `FALSE`, podGAN 941 reads `TRUE`). Pindar described the substitution himself in `news__podgallery-solution.txt`: the attribute words "are words from the slip-39 list, when the words needed to unlock the wallet needed to be taken from the bip-39 list. So if you looked up the equivalent value from the bip-39 list, you would got the correct seed phrase, in the correct order." The payload was twelve words, not eleven. Both sides are 1024. ### 8.3 Binary and octal codes — codes to decimal Seventy-six artworks carry a binary code: 64 six-bit codes covering decimal 0–63 (the roboGAN drop, GANs 129–192), 8 seven-bit codes covering 64–71 (Act 1 Review GANs 457–464) and 4 more covering 72–75 (GANs 497–500). That is an unbroken run of 76 distinct values with no gaps and no duplicates, strictly one-to-one. Sixteen artworks carry an octal code `0o0`–`0o17` covering decimal 0–15 (the spookyGAN drop, GANs 193–208), also contiguous and one-to-one. Neither side is eleven. The interesting break is at the join. Act 1 Review pieces **#465 and #466** continue the octal series but are written `0x20` and `0x21`. Read as the octal continuation they are 16 and 17 and the series stays contiguous; read as the hexadecimal their prefix declares they are 32 and 33, leaving 16–31 empty. These are the only two hexadecimal numbers in the whole collection, and the published sheet took the hex reading. The corruption is exactly "doubling by radix". Separately, GAN 143's Arweave filename is `14_00110.gif`, five bits where the six-bit series demands `001110`. ### 8.4 Hidden Types — numbers to letter classes The published hierarchy assigns Fibonacci numbers to class A, remaining primes to B, squares to C, remaining odd numbers to D and remaining even numbers to E. Five classes, applied to a drop-local index. It is a function, emphatically not one-to-one, and neither side is eleven. Coverage is also thin: only 173 of 513 rows carry any Hidden Type at all, confined to the skullGAN, roboGAN and spookyGAN drops, and the system stops dead at #208. An undocumented sixth class **F** turns out to be systematic rather than anomalous. Adding one rule — a palindromic code overrides everything and takes F — makes the two uppercase drops fit. In six-bit binary exactly eight codes are palindromes, and those eight GANs all carry palindromic proper names as well: RoboboR, Dr Awkward, Taco Cat, Dog God, Evil Olive, Flow Wolf, Star Rats, CalcuclaC. Add the one octal palindrome `0o0` and class F has nine members. Nine, not eleven. Against that rule the whole classification has just two violations: **#32** and **#187**. **#32 is in the Forge, and this is the one intersection between the Forge and material Pindar publicly flagged as puzzle content.** In `news__hidden-types.txt` (31 August 2021) he wrote that "(32/128) is Type 32 (typo or important?)" and "(119/128) is only Odd number of Type E (typo or important?)", then: "Hint: These are not 'Hidden Typos', but part of the puzzle that will only be solvable after some more drops. Hold on to this info for later." He never redeemed it. In our data #32's `OnChain_HiddenType` is the literal string `"32"` — its own index standing where a class letter belongs, and the only numeric value in any categorical field across all 513 rows. Six weeks later, on 14 October 2021, #32 was burned in the Forge together with Flaming Ghost skullGAN #95, and the two became **The Extra Terrestrial 10,105**, whose Essence is `level`. The companion flag, #119, cannot be confirmed from our data at all: its `OnChain_HiddenType` field is blank because the metadata fetch returned no attributes for it. Any theory that leans on #119 leans on Pindar's sentence and nothing else. The same post also names an explicit artist-stated eleven — "HODL the Fibonacci bitGANs (0/128), (1/128), (2/128), (3/128), (5/128), (8/128), (13/128), (21/128), (34/128), (55/128), & (89/128)" — whose Essences in GAN order are `universe abandon ability able above abstract account bean aerobic almost arch`. That set contains #21, the register break whose repaired word `action` is the collection's only unused BIP-39 word. It is already Candidate 3 in `theories/curated_elevens.md`. ### 8.5 The Act 1 Review reprise — reprises back to sources Sixty-eight rows carry `Drop == "Act 1 - Review"`, GANs 445–512, matching `act1_uploadorder.json` exactly; Pindar's "final 64" is GANs 449–512, with 445–448 being the four cryptoArtGAN collabs. The Arweave folder names split the 68 into blocks: eight skullGAN reprises, eight roboGAN reprises, two spookyGAN reprises, **eleven Solstice reprises (GANs 470–480, folders reprise09 through reprise12)**, seven testGAN reprises, and various studies. That Solstice block is a genuine eleven on the left, and it is clean at both edges: its eleven `M_OriginalDrop` values run `2021.12.21.1202` through `…1212` consecutively, and the next four values belong to testGANs in a different folder. But **the correspondence is not one-to-one**: the right side is the 92-piece Solstice drop, and nothing in the data names a specific source artwork for a specific reprise. `M_OriginalDrop` names the drop, not the piece. So it is eleven-to-ninety-two. The one genuine 1:1 back-reference in the whole Review is by name rather than by data: GAN 449 is `Bean skullGAN`, and skullGAN #21 is `Beanie skullGAN` with the anomalous Essence `bean`. Note also that numbered reprise folder **07 does not exist** — the sequence runs 00–13 with a hole exactly where the SuperRare bitGANs would fall chronologically. ### 8.6 The Ghosts drop identity fixed points — an undocumented eleven Inside the 144-piece Ghosts in the Machine drop (GANs 301–444) there are exactly **eleven** artworks whose Essence is the BIP-39 word at their own GAN number: #307 `chaos`, #322 `choice`, #348 `clock`, #368 `combine`, #372 `common`, #380 `control`, #389 `correct`, #404 `crash`, #407 `crazy`, #429 `culture`, #444 `danger`. Eleven on both sides and strictly one-to-one on those eleven. Twenty-three of the drop's Essences fall anywhere inside the index band 301–444, and eleven of those twenty-three land exactly on their own number, where random placement would predict roughly one sixth of one hit. Four more miss by only one or two (#354, #360, #423, #440) and the remaining eight miss by 45 or more. Two of the eleven are jokes about themselves: #404 is named `404 Not Found` and carries `crash`, and #444 is the drop's terminus at position 144/144 and carries `danger`. This eleven appears in no prior theory document and deserves its own test. ### 8.7 The forged Essence register — pieces to a private vocabulary The mapping documented in §4.2: twenty-five forged pieces to twenty-five Essences, twenty-four of which are disjoint from every Essence used anywhere else in the 513. One-to-one apart from the duplicated Snailbot. The eleven-member sub-register that existed on the clue date is the candidate this report puts forward. ### 8.8 Two more, and one warning The **cryptoArtGAN** maps are small and perfect: four Act 1 Review pieces to four named artists (#445 Colborn, #446 SuperRareRoses, #447 Brinkman, #448 StellaBelle), and four Solstice cryptoArtGANs at GANs 228, 246, 264, 282 — a perfect interval of 18, with 282 + 18 = 300, the drop's Luna terminus. Four to four, one-to-one, no violations. The **Solstice date puzzle** mapped twelve artworks to twelve BIP-39 words in mint order; twelve, not eleven. The warning concerns the two near-elevens that will show up in any sweep of this data. The column `G: Chain is the corrupt side` flags exactly eleven rows — GANs 16, 17, 44, 48, 58, 62, 66, 81, 173, 281, 309 — but that column was defined by a previous worker in this archive, not by Pindar, so its count of eleven is a count of somebody's own category. It is cheap to test and should be tested, but it is not authored. Everything else that is a genuine correspondence is 128, 1024, 92, 76, 64, 16, 12, 9, 6 or 4. ## 9. What I would do next 1. **Run the full 11! permutation sweep on `super rare series ritual level secret update switch symbol upgrade chief`.** Sixteen orderings is not a test of a set, it is a test of sixteen orderings. This is the one previously untested eleven with a genuinely independent motivation: a contract that closed at exactly eleven members on the day the clue was posted, corroborated by the artist's own inventory of "12 SuperRare bitGANs" two days later. 2. **Try the ten-word forged set with a wildcard in the missing position.** The children of the eleven burnt Flaming skullGANs, in parent order, are `night secret ??? ritual switch crisp level update symbol crystal chief`, where `???` is the word of the forge that was never minted and `crisp` is the repair of the glitched `crispy`. Sweeping the unknown slot over the wordlist is only 2048 × 128 derivations per ordering. I have run this for the parent-number ordering on the default path; see §6 for the result. Other orderings are still open and cost about seven minutes each. 3. **Test the Ghosts drop identity eleven.** `chaos choice clock combine common control correct crash crazy culture danger` — eleven artworks in GANs 301–444 whose Essence is the BIP-39 word at their own index, against an expectation of roughly one sixth of one such coincidence. It is two-sided, one-to-one, and appears in no prior theory document in this archive. Its natural order is GAN order, and #444 sitting at position 144/144 holding `danger` reads like a deliberate terminus. I have tested GAN order and its reverse only; the other 39,916,798 orderings are open. 4. **Take the word `random` seriously as a signpost.** GAN 468, `Flaming testGAN (468/512)`, carries the Essence `random` and is tagged an outlier in the sheet. The clue says the seed phrase ends with "a random word". If Pindar signposted the twelfth slot the way he signposted `puzzle` on #153 and `hidden` on #168, this is where he did it, and the twelfth word may not be free at all. 5. **Ask the collector who burned #49 and #20 what happened.** Wallet `0xE301612b0751f6D862a27BE205fb8e3c40c8C6db` sent four bitGANs to the burn wallet on 29 October 2021, received one forged piece back (Zombie Face, from #11 and #74), and is still owed a second after nearly five years. If that forge exists anywhere — as a physical painting, as an unminted file, as a name in Pindar's notes — its Essence is the missing eleventh word, and it is the only word in this theory that cannot be recovered from the chain.
