Eleven glitches hide a wallet key.

The prize: #445 “Magic Internet moneyGAN” — and the crypto wallet it unlocks.
Artist Pindar Van Arman made 512 animated pixel-art creatures called bitGANs. Hidden inside the collection is the 12-word recovery phrase to a crypto wallet holding the prize. Eleven of the twelve words come from “glitches” — pieces Pindar broke on purpose. The twelfth is random.

This site is the full research record: every piece and its tags, every glitch found, every idea for turning pieces into words and ordering them, and every attempt tested. It must be solved from the collection itself — Pindar has said no more clues are coming.

A recipe is three choices: which pieces, how each piece becomes a word, and what order the words go in. Choose one in each column, left to right. When a choice makes an option in the next column impossible to compute from the site's data, that option greys out and says why — that is about what the site can calculate, not a verdict on the idea. Nothing is closed. Where an earlier run tried a combination you will see a dated note, not a verdict. Add your own pieces if none of the groups fits.

Every idea we've tried for solving the puzzle, in plain language: what we thought a glitch was, how we picked the pieces, how we tested it, and what happened. A "ruled out" means that one recipe failed against the real wallet — never that the glitch itself is disproven.

Where we have looked, and where we have not

Every attempt at this puzzle answers three questions. Which pieces? (a selection) How does each piece turn into a word? (a word rule) What order do the words go in? (an ordering) Pick one answer to each and you have a recipe the computer can test against the wallet. Below, each group of pieces we have ever proposed gets a short report: how many times it has been run through the machine, which word rules and orderings were used, and how much of the space around it is still untouched.
